Is this the pic in the APA standard?

I wish I knew. I was hoping to get a good solid answer, but it still seems shady for what the color is supposed to be. Maybe someone with the APA Standard "book" will chime in and finally rest my mind.

Good job! And I'm the same. I prefer hatching my own or getting eggs from members here. I like to look at them in the stores now, but can easily walk away. Not popping eggs in the incubator or letting a broody have eggs is my downfall.

Just hatched over the last few days. She sat so well for a staggered hatch!

Battle of the mottled! Ali was born last February so just starting his first molt. When we got him the only clue was a loan white toe feather - then the white stripes by his comb came and went. Now he's starting to get some white.

I'll have to take a recent pic for you this weekend

George turned a year old in May, I think. He had alot more white as a youngster.

Told someone I got a freebie with my shipment- bantam Cochin/ silkie. They said "ugh why would anyone do that?!" Well. He a cute little chatty bugger! But I can't keep him. Too many Roos. Beaker.

Wow. I know I'm new at this but that is the opposite of what Ali is doing. He was black and I'm just starting to see streaks of white a year + later. He's a pretty lil guy!
