Look what my silver pencilled did today!! This is only her 3rd or 4th egg as far as I can tell.

White egg is large store bought for comparison. She is my biggest Bantam though, easily double the size of my Oegb, Sebrights and Japs.

Hello Everyone!

I sure would love to join this Pekin Party hehe I'm new to keeping pekins and i'm in love love loooove. They are cuteness and personality plus for sure. I have a very devoted rooster (pictured below) and a bakers dozen of babies recently hatched (also pictured below). I'd love to hear opinions as to what colours these will be (without waiting because who likes waiting!?) and whether anyone can identify the little black guy (I suspect he might have a sebright mother not a pekin)

Hello bantam Cochin lovers. I have 5 and not one of them is laying. Here's the back story. Calico is a little over a year old. She was laying 5 eggs a week...went broody in May and hasn't laid since. I have 2 that we're hatched in March.....1 laid for 2 weeks in August....then immediately went broody and hasn't laid since the other is a frizzle and has yet to lay. The other 2 were hatched in July and have yet to lay. So frustrating but I love them to pieces. When will they lay????
