I just found my bantam cochin hen "Boss Lady" with a severe prolapse. She's 7 months old, has been laying about once a week. She won't stand. How do I help her???

I'm putting her in a small dog crate with a towel instead of shavings. I'm going to try to reinsert the tissue. She did lay today I'm fairly certain.

Thank you so much!😥 You're so encouraging, sometimes I feel like I don't do enough to help them when they pass away. It's like I didn't help them enough to keep them alive.
Sometimes you just can’t. That’s the way it has to be. You can’t ever blame yourself. Loving your babies is the best thing you can do for them, and you were doing your very best and I could tell you were very loving. :hugs Just remember that this happens to all of us. Some chickens pass away sooner than others. It’s inevitable, and sometimes as hard as you try you can’t save them. Love is stronger than pain.❤️

That looks like hamburger meat, so she possibly has been pecked. Did she have a prolapsed egg as she was eggbound? I would clean her vent with saline and apply plain Neosporin or Triple Antibiotic twice a day. Keep her separated while she is being treated.
I checked and she's not egg bound that I could tell. I was able to get it back in. I cleaned it and she's separated and I'm going to try to keep her away from sunlight to discourage egg laying.
