I have a flock of 12 birds 2 old hens about 7 but still going strong. One hen 5 who is always picking on the 4 bantams and 6 pullets that are 11 weeks old
The 5 year old hen is always picking on the bantams she is at the top of the pecking order and she manages to get the other 2 older ones to join in and sometimes there is 3 fully grown chickens standing and pinning down one bantam it's horrible. What can I do. I love the bantams they are so friendly and the kids love them too. They love bing picked up and just want them all to get along. Advice please.
