Bantams let out of the coop **Updates** (PHOTOS)

Beautiful pictures, as usual. Your girls look so much alike. I love the one of Isabella, she's grown so much since your last pics. She's just precious, they all are.

We were looking at some land near us in Blountsville, by you, too, I think....We're really close to Snead, in Susan Moore.....

Barbie Doe sheep . . . is that a colloquialism for barbado sheep? I turn up nothing on google when I search for barbie doe sheep. We keep barbado sheep in with a painted desert ram . . . they are absolutely gorgeous sheep, and I love your photos.

I had to tame up my chickens a bit after I neglected handling them for a while. I only have a few, so I make sure to pick each one up a few times every day, and I never neglect to give them a treat when I do so. I also made sure the only ones who got treats were the ones willing to take it from my hand. I always feel bad doing this, because the cowardly ones get left out, but eventually they catch on. It only took a few days of this for them to run towards me and gladly submit to being picked up, the greedy little fatties. One of them is now under the impression she can cheat the system by jumping into my lap and planting herself there, ready for a treat. It never ceases to amaze me, the power food holds over everything . . . even the well fed.
