Hi Everyone,
I have a bad problem with one of my banty's and have no idea what I can do about it.
I found her on friday outside the coop, when she should have gone up to roost for the night. She could not walk properly and I brought her in the house to see how she would do over the weekend.
She is barely eating and now can barely walk and cannot stand without using her wings to balance.
I have to keep her in the house so she can have access to food and water she can reach.
She is obviously in a lot of pain. I cannot see anything obvious wrong with her legs so I am at a loss as to what else I can do.
Can anyone give me any advice?
Thank you.
Jenny

You can start off by dissolving a baby aspirin in her water. That will help with the pain.

To keep her hydrated make up a loose mush of baby bird handfeeding formula. You can buy it at the petshops.

Other than that, keep her separated and stress free.
