Bought 2 chicks in early Aug around the 8th. Both were suppose to be hens. Both had the eye liner like marking. One is turning more golden color and one is a darker color . Is the darker one a hen? Matured faster than the ligher golden one . Both have the pattern on their breast. Tried to get pics from all angles since the 4 new ones are quite skittish because the 8 asi browns are being mean to them. Whenever all are out in the yard they tolerate the young ones until a person comes out and then thecyoung ones have to go to the corner. Jealousy?

Had a discussion on here because I didn't remember what the sign was on the bin they were in but I remembered it said a Dutch breed back when they were chicks. Earlier picture posted them as chicks. Concensus then was Barndeveler with a few saying Wyandotte.
They're definitely Wyandottes.

So you think this one too is a male?
