My hatch went well and I have 10 new Barney chicks. I'm happy with this first hatch of the year and it appears that I will have lots of cockerels to choose from this fall, lol. Judging by the color of the breast it looks like 7 of the 10 are boys. That is actually okay with me as I really do want to have lots of males to choose from. I have 6 more eggs in the incubator due to hatch over the weekend, though one looks like a quitter.
