That's about what I run my humidity at. Not much more than 35% and then 60-70% during lockdown. With the higher humiditys I seem to get chicks that are dead in the shell (drowned I assume) and a sometimes sticky chicks.
Jen, let them rest at least a day
I've also heard that putting them in the bator and not turning them for the first day or two can help with detached aircells.

Agreed. Mine actually rested 48hrs because I was waiting on some other eggs to arrive the next day that were going in to the 'bator at the same time.
