Hello

I have 12 week old Barnevelders (two of them left).
One is obviously a rooster.
The other one i'm unsure about...

The one i'm unsure about, is
*smaller
*thinner and darker legs
*comb and face not nearly as red as the rooster.
*no saddle feathers.

But i'm wondering if the comb and redness is just a bit too red to be a pullet aged 12 weeks??

Thoughts?

It's normal for a pullet to start getting a bit pink in the comb after 12 weeks old. Her comb will likely be fully red by 16 weeks, and laying will begin at about 20 weeks, which is all perfectly normal.
