Barnyards test egg thread.....

Sorry I havent reported in, my candler died about 6 days ago and I had a lone hatchling and I have been wrestling with her to get her to eat, while otherwise doing a thousand other things prepping for our move!

I finally got one tonite, will try to candle and give a report tomorrow late!

OK, I'm an impatient guy and despite not having the greatest candling system, I went ahead and candled on day 9. If I'm correct, I have 5 BLRW going strong in there!

Just candled my cochins from Barnyard...

Two look like they are not as developed as the others, or perhaps they died the first week, I have a hard time telling with just a reg flashlight.

The other five look good, altho one has the air cell on the wrong end, so I worry bout that lil guy.

And your shells are THICK, your girls must be super healthy!

Could barely see whats goin on in there!

Wont be too long now!

Today is day 18. Candled and put them in egg cartons. Lost one blrw so I'm at 6blrw and 7ee! Will let you know what hatches!
