Barred Rock gender??

I know I've read some barred Rick gender threads and there are strong opinions out there, any guess?

I can't quite be sure, but it looks like a rooster to me.

Little early to tell, but to me it looks like a pullet. (Dark wash on the feet/legs and dark.)

All barred rocks have a white spot on the head, male and female.

This looks like a pullet to me.

He/she has about equal barring black and white so it seems harder to tell the legs look more pullet though, but I've read this isn't 100% indicator.

Welcome @BroodyB! I also have a barred rock that I am not sure what sex it is. Was supposed to be pullet but I really am leaning the other way. Only time will tell.

That's strange, all my pullets had tiny faded stars on head and the cocks had large, or small, bright white dots. But then again, the coloring is pullet-like.

I agree!

When I had them my pullets were smaller, developed feathers faster, had darker feathers and greyer white barring, as well as smaller, more broken white markings on the head.
