barred rock hatched may 16th

i have posted pics a few times of the flock and of this one specifically. she has become more and more red in teh face over the last few weeks and i dont think it is sunburn. everyone still think she is a she?

I say rooster...how old?

( my rooster, I had 4 of them) ** they had the black splash on the front of the legs, but it faded away as they got older.

(my pullet, I have 3 now....)

The pullets are darker barred, yours looks VERY rooish to me, very light and very red faced already.

He is she 10 weeks this week.

I think its a girl. She's nice and dark, no.saddle or hackle feathers, and doesn't have the upright tail of a rooster. Very pretty!

Pullet
A photo of one of my BR's at 11weeks should help you see that yours is a hen too. Ripple laid her first egg yesterday, but this was her at 11weeks she is now huge with huge combs and wattles too.

For sure a female! My roo on the left, pullet on the right. 16 weeks old. Usually pullets are darker feathered and have black shading on the front of the legs, while roos are lighter and no black shading.

My br pullet is just 8.5 weeks and her comb is red as well.

May 16th is the same day my girls hatched

they look exactly like yours! Definitely a hen...and a pretty one too!
