I love, love, love my Partridge Rock. They're rare, but if you can find one, she'll get along great with the BR (same breed and all that). The other breeds in my flock are doing well together, too: Sussex, Easter Egger, and Welsummer. In the heat, I would look at an Australorp, too. Great heat hardiness, and similar temperament to the Rocks.Thanks for the tip! Sounds like a nice flock! I am more curious about 1 on 1 since I'll only have 2. I am not opposed to keeping 2 BRs, but variety would be nice.

I got my sweetie on March 21, I believe she was about 3 days old when we got her.aww ty! she is approx 11weeks old, we got her may 19th and was told she was about a week old. she loves to jump for meal worms lol
