Also, one has a tiny pink comb and no waddles and is a lot smaller than the other. The bigger one has the bigger bright red comb and adult looking waddles.Hi I'm new to chickens and I got two barred rocks two nights ago that I was told were 4 months old hatchmates. I don't think they look the same age, could it be that they developed differently? Or perhaps one is younger? Please help,

They could be hatch mates from different parents. One could be male. Or they could be sisters that are going through puberty at different times.
. This is where the chicken rule applies: there is no "normal." As long as they are healthy, it won't make much difference to your flock.

when was told that I was getting a Plymouth Rock possible rooster I got so excited and then I ended up with this!Lol everybody loves my Brave I like my Silver Laced Wyandotte just as much.He is 7 weeks in that pic, his name is RugaRoo or Roo for short.
