Actually, remember, it was my HUSBAND that said tha, I have never said any such thing. I am much nicer then he is.

And I think it is true that dogs are loyal, friendly and loving. But the loyal part kinda flies out the window when there is a lovely lady dog down the road in heat.....

There-in lies my DHs comparison!

Let's draw some distinctions here. Any healthy male will look at a
beautiful woman in a bathing suit, dress, or black tank top and jeans,
and appreciate her beauty. That doesn't mean he is a dog.
Women are actually worse then men when it comes to "admiring"
the opposite sex.

Men are dogs could mean many different things, most of which I cannot
go into detail on in this family oriented forum.

Woof.

Wow!

you are the first guy that has EVER tried to convince me that women are worse ones about 'admiring'. I am young, I am NOT naive. Sorry.

How come there are so many MENS magazines with 'swimsuit' editions.... To be honest I have never seen Redbook or Womens Day have a male swimsuit edition. Maybe they have, but I have never seen it!

But it was a good try, I applaud your efforts!

Besides, there is looking, and then there is LOOKING- I think we all know the difference!

I know.................. it is because men stinko at finding things, even looking up on the internet and get in trouble by thier significant others if they can stumble upon a good site to view ....therefore they decided to create a magazine for themselves so us women can pick it up at the store for them. Us women however can search and find whatever we WANT to find on the internt and it does not have to reach out and bite us on the leg (sorry for the dog analogy!) for us to see it.

Men and women look at pics differently. There are plenty of pics of
men in boxers and such in women's magazines. They are just more
subtle. Women, in many ways, are more sophisticated too. A guy in
a hot suit is a turn-on as much as a gal in a bikini is to a guy.

Ever go to a male strip club? The women are ANIMALS. If we acted
the same way we'd be thrown out or beat up.

How about all the women who went crazy for Obama when the pics
of him in the surf with the ripped abs came out?

I'm in no way saying there is anything wrong with any of this nor
is there a problem with looking. Most secure people can look at
an attractive person of the same sex or opposite sex and appreciate
their physiques. Now if it goes to the level of lust then it's a problem.

Well said PC, I agree on these points. I haven't ever been to male club, but some of my friends have, and WHOA, the stories they tell...

As for me, I love a man in uniform, or a nice suit. My dh was wearing his dress blues today

Nekkid or near nekkid is too blatant for me.

If I notice someone that's particularly attractive, I will say something and point them out. I think that's how we are all programmed-we want to look the the pretties, and I don't think there's anything wrong with admiring the way someone looks.

When I see pretty sparkly things in glass cases, I don't get reprimanded for admiring them. And it doesn't mean that I want them to take home either, it just means that they caught my attention and I like looking at them.

I don't agree with most of societies "double standard" for men and women. We wanted equality, so let's show some...
