MILLE FLEUR LEGHORNS Obviously need a lot of work, but I've got about 25 to grow out (1 - 3 months old!) so hopefully I'll get something to work with!

I hadn't seen or heard of it but it definetely sounds do-able to me. I will check with a few of my friends & see if they want to go on a road trip.
Thanks for the heads up Cheryl

Oh hi - just saw this! Welcome. There are at least 4 people I know (besides the obvious roo raisers in the canyon), who have chickens in AmCan - myself and two of the boarders at my stable, and one other. I will be likely looking to rehome some roos, let me know if you need any at the farm.

Cheryl - As I have mentioned in my few posts I am still new to Chicken raising, but your "Gentle Giants" are the most beautiful birds I have ever seen! Love them!

And I was wondering about the heirloom exhibit. I was in the Seed Bank in Petaluma and they had an add for it. It sounds like it would be a lot of fun!

Thanks so much Sandy! We should do a get-together at the show. Anyone else interested, a bit of a drag that it's tues-thurs. I just emailed the poultry judge, Walt Leonard whether I should bring the silver pencils and mille fleur leghorns...we'll see

You're welcome! I would enjoy doing a get-together at the show! I was planning on taking a vacation day or two. Hopefully others will be interested too! We could have our own Bay Area BYCers contingent!
