Hi Karen! Do you know Kate Roberson? I think I sent her your direction for eggs last spring. She got some of my nigerians for a small home herd. Awesome lady! I have a couple of nice silkies I would love to send to Silkie lover. They are so danged cute, but just can't free range here. Too many eye feathers.
I am starting a small flock of Swedish Flower Hens. I bought from Greenfire and man am I sold on the breed! Just hatched a few more Lav Ams from muggsmaggee and am branching out into a few ducks. Glad to know there are more of us in the Central Valley. I don't think we fit in either the northern or southern realms...so we have to create our own!! LOL

Let me know if you are all coming up! Let's get together for breakfast, coffee, something! I am happy to organize, and if Walt will post when the judging is when he finds out, maybe we can work around that? OR, what day is best for you out-of-towners to come to SoCo?
