 I prefer the LG for quail eggs without the fan. Just seems to dry them up at hatch to fast and the die in the shell, so although a lot of people don't like them I do.

Should I keep the fan completely off the whole time or just when they start hatching?

I use one that has no fan the whole time. They hatch in the Sportsman, but the fan is so strong in there, that I get a lot of dried out zipped chicks.

The two bantam polish pullets that I got from you are just so darling. I have them in their own little cage while I prepare their pen - they are going to get a whole eglu all to themselves while they grow up a bit more. I'll send pics once I have them set up this weekend!

Ok so I have the following that I am asking $10 each. All pullets and all around 3-4.5 months old. As far as their quality I have no idea as they were sold in hatching eggs to me and did not hatch what I was expecting nor what I purchased.

2x bantam buff brahmas pullets. (or possible male and female but no crowing yet and I am not familiar with these guys)

Oh in that case I have SPPR chicks if you are interested. They are 2-3 days old.

Thanks so much but the one little chick that I was trying to find a friend for (broody hatched her out) passed away

Mama hen doesn't seem too interested in raising chicks anymore
