I have eaten there many times. But honestly I preferred the OLD Lucas Wharf deli. They changed hands about a year or so ago and it is not as good now. Their calimari and fish and chips and their clam chowder were THE BEST... man my mouth is watering now...

How about all the salt water taffy from Kandy and Kites right next door? We were commercial fishers out of Mason Marina. I loved it so much!!

Hey Steff, regarding Firefox Copy / Paste: There is something weird with Firefox that the "right click" copy/paste doesn't work. Fortunately there are two other options that work:

Right click past - Error
CTRL-V - Works
Edit - Paste - Works

Not fair, telling me about a better place, but only if I can turn back time!!

Rob, I could copy/paste in Firefox despite the error message, but it would only show up as a pic (not an icon) in Explorer. Then, I built the page in Explorer, and everything looks great in both (except for the font glitch, which I understand now) but the photos don't appear in my uploads grid. Weird.

Nifty,

I tried all three Paste methods listed above and I had no luck with any of the three.

What version of Firefox are you using?

Steff,

Your BYC page is off to a great start, I am glad that we still have a few weeks to complete our pages...

Thanks for the compliments on my coop. The roof was the big modification for this climate. I actually put cardboard on the roof rafters and moved it until it was exactly at the right spot to keep the sun off the windows from 10-2. Then I knew where to put the OSB.

I live within walking distance to Rankin Park. We actually have two parks right in the backyard here, both Rankin, and Carquinez Regional Park. It's fun to ride bikes up on the Carquinez Scenic Drive over by the old grave yard. (the locals call that road something else.) but, yes, we do get predators here. I had a thread about a mountain lion killing a deer back in January, and my neighbor confirmed seeing the mountain lion little over a week ago. There are also coyotes, but we don't see them down in the neighborhood. Still, I love living here.

awww, poor Lucy! and her people!

I'm not sure if I should start a North Bay thread for this... does anyone in North Bay area like King Feeds and want to go in on a half a pallet?

I bought a bag of their Pro-Am layer pellets at the Stockton show, and can't find anyone up here to sell me some more.
I called King's (L.A. Hearne Co) today and talked to Larry today; he has a guy who can deliver it here but needs a half pallet to make it worth the trip for him. That's 20 bags, and can be a combination of different feed types.
They'll be around $16 a bag, depending on fuel costs. They were $13 at the show... next time I'll buy all I can carry!

He's calling me back tomorrow with price details. Please PM or email me if you want to join in. Thanks!

Have you tried to see if Western Farm would order it for you? Maybe they would be willing to be the middle man. There are lots of Sonoma County chooks.
