July 15th its a roo ummmm a boy! I will have 5 boys and 3 girls plus one niece that lives with us. 15 chickens (Starting next week I won't be able to go into the Concord feed store for fear of uping that number. 3 black cats (the landlord thinks I have only one cat) and a very long lived hermit crab (3 years old).

I can't wait for the next chickenstock though.

I am going to call Concord Feed from the parking lot open the trunk and pay the from the car window. lol DH will kill me if I bring home a GJ pullet oh I need an EE pullet too. Last season I got two EE pullets that turned out to be roos. Oh yeah and my Houdan was really a bantam cochin. Come to think of it I really did not get anything I wanted. I think my DH will have to do the feed run because I feel a need to get more biddies.

I don't think I'm going to have any fertile eggs soon, but I will have extra chicks that I'm going to need to rehome! Sometime in mid-to the end of March, PM me if you're interested. I'm thinking I'll have extra Buff Orpingtons, Black Australorps, possibly a few Blue Wheaten Ameraucanas and maybe (big maybe) a few Delawares. The Dells will probably be roos that I'll be trying to rehome though, I don't know if I could part with any pullets that I get. They are considered heritage.

and that's exactly what I did this year, too. But then you come along saying, "I might have some extras. PM me....." And I am actually considering it. Some help you are!
