Man I miss the Bay right now.

If I can get up the energy to make it to the meetup do either of you have an Ameraucana roo? My blue girl (ok at least I think she's a she) is going to need a honey. She is from SQ stock and the only Ameraucana that hatched. Anyway I'd like a few more nice ones, so if you have or know of any?????

I have 2 black Am roos but they are not the best for breeding. Tails are off and they just aren't looking like they should.

I plan to try for more blacks come next spring with a roo I'm picking up this weekend from Steff.

Been worried about you but hate to ask the stupid question "How are you doing?" cause it's obvious what the answer is.

Boy my avatar really doesn't fit my expression right now. Of course you probably feel like you have to give a polite answer anyway.

Anything we can do? If you want my over-zealous black am you can have him (hormones raging). He's only 17 weeks so I don't know how he'll look in the long run but he is rarin' to go. SQ (sadly) he is not though.

Too pooped to hang in here tonight any longer. I'll check back tomorrow.

Like Sunny said, I'm afraid to ask how you're doing. I'm sure you're trying to keep your chin up right now through some really tough times. Good that you are doing some of the normal daily things that you love, like chickens. Take Sunny up on that Black Am roo offer. (John Blehm!) I don't know what her boy looks like, but the ones I got from the same hatch are really pretty! Mine are all spoken for, or I'd give you one of mine. It's pretty ironic that I didn't get any pullets, but my roos are such lookers! When I went to the state fair and compared the show winners with my boys, mine looked better. (no bias here.

)

Sunny, which day are you thinking you will be coming through Martinez? I want to make sure I'm not off somewhere else!

I must have been really tired when I checked back in here. I didn't see posts to me from either of you. Guess that says how I'm doing. Trust me you don't want to know.

Sunny! I'll take him. Maybe him and my blue will do good together. I wish I has some memory on my laptop, so I could post pics. So frustrating.

Oh....did the egg swap last month. There are pics of 2 of the Silkies she got from my eggs. They're so cute and I've never had pics of any of my babies on here. Was nice to know she got them to hatch.

Sunny are you going to be down here soon or will it be for the Bay Area meet?

OH NO, our first CROW, don't know if it was the mille fleur leghorn or the brabanter. Does anyone know of someone breeding these? I'd love them to go to someone that would appreciate the breed
