BBS Orp eggs up for trade/VA

I have to throw my hat in the ring!

I could knit and felt you some stuffed chickens in whatever color you wanted (so if you wanted BBS, I could do that). Here's the pattern I use, and they end up about 4 inches tall and very cute. (scroll down and you'll see the rooster kit and hen kit - but I'd provide actual chickens.)

Or if there's other knitting you'd be interested in (hats, scarves, mittens). I have chicken potholders I sew. I also draw and paint and could do a chicken portrait. Chicken art!! or other art. I'm no good with people but do very very nice animal art.

I also have lots of that Michigan snow - fresh today!!

Lol..Just teasing..but maybe just maybe as our brooders empty down i could trade some lav eggs for some.. i would keep all the black chicks for project purposes only and the rest would go to a buddy of mine that does not go onto interent..i will be getting some from another on here as well later in early summer..let me know if that might work for you..

Charlie, I have a little black roo growing out and 2 black hens I could put together when the girl start laying. If you wanted to go in that direction. Right now I have plans to keep my black boy for awhile.

Angie, i mean eggs BBS would be fine, no birds, we would hatch them out.. But from straight blacks will work to..Not to worried about BBS types..

emmalynn..long story short on this one,,had something to do with making box turkey calls and a saw..almost lost two of the tips, the other one the sewed back on..
The rest of the finger tip from the one lost is here in a jelly jar in Formaldehyde ..its a good conversation piece with my hunting buddies..LOL

Oh, I wasn't offering live birds. I meant I plan to keep the black roo around for a while but not forever. I'll have him for a bit more before culling him. Unless Steve helps me build another set of partitions in the barn I can'tkeep very many roos for very long.

When the girls are laying I can collect some eggs for you.

I have a pint of homemade apple butter, & pint of homemade crabapple-peach jelly. I am sure I can find another 1/2 pint of either cherry pie filling or apricot jam.

Angie i got ya...sure if you decide to separate id go with them as well, your choice though.. its tough to keep each and every roo..i know how you feel..somtimes you just got do what you gotta do..

emmalynn..no turkey for me that year, my one buddy got a Jake that year,called in with a purchased turkey call...
**Its just us guys who keep trophy body parts, although there may be some gals out there that might to..lol

might have some of my maply syrup here to to spare/give up..
