BBS Orp eggs up for trade/VA

Well, it's like this, Corancher. I know I have some gorgeous birds. I know what it cost me to get them. Just because someone doesn't have the cash to pay for eggs should not mean they too cannot have gorgeous blue orpingtons. The world need beautiful chickens and I can't hatch them all. Nothing comes from being greedy. There are many who do not think so but I really am a nice person. Money isn't everything and there are other things of great value that can be used to barter eggs with.

I have too many orps - so my husand says when I pay the feed bill. lol

It doesn't have to be eggs. I like other things too.

As far as improving - there is always more fluff and better lacing and deeper colors etc. But those take more than a few hatches to make better.

They do great. They perfer a nice deep water source though - including the stock tank!

They are laying like a machine right now. Gorgeous big eggs. Delicious too.

Sigh...I would love to trade....but I don't think I have anything you would want to trade for...I have some heritage seeds from Bakers Creek, but I really want to be greedy with those seeds..........


I have 12 BBS Orps from Tuffoldhen in my 'bator now, due in less than 2 weeks. Started out with 16

but only 12 have developed, so I think that's pretty good so far??
