My BCM ladies are 25 weeks tomorrow, and I haven't see an egg yet. I know some can take a little longer than others, but my EEs have been laying since 21 weeks.

My BCM are getting chonky😂 their combs and wattles have grown and darkened quite a bit over the last couple weeks, and 1 is squatting for me. My roo is hopping on all of them. Do they look like they may lay soon?

They are lovely! I've had some lay at 21 weeks and some 28 weeks. Yours certainly look ready. Should be anytime.
Thank you! I've been sure to supply extra calcium (crushed egg shells as well as oyster shells), plenty of BSF larvae, and of course their layer feed. They also free range from about 9 am until dark. Is there anything else they may need? This is my first year with chickens. Trying to make sure I'm doing everything right to have happy ladies😊
