Beach vacation hatch..now up to 11 lavender silkie chicks!!

The silkie in picture #3 wants to live in the WV Hills with Auntie Tammy. Great babies Judy and April...makes me want to take a vacation!

HAHAHAHA!!!!!! I am so happy with this hatch. I've had some difficulty in hatching silkies in the past and can't tell you how blessed I feel to have this many hatch. I have one more pipped and rocking in the incubator and 3 that haven't done anything. I will candle them after this rocking baby hatches. Maybe they are just going to take longer, but my experience is that they usually hatch about the same time if they are viable. I give all the credit to this new Rcom Suro King incubator. It has not missed a beat the entire 22 days. Humidity and temp stay absolutely rock solid all the time.

I had one egg that was waxed make it to about day 18 or so and then died. Not a huge surprise...more surprised that it made it to day 18.
