Help...
My 3 month old silkie sometimes does beak breathing / panting and extends its neck. He only does it in the evening / at night when he is in the indoor chicken room. His siblings are only 7 weeks old so I keep the room at around 75 degrees. I took him to a vet but the vet could not find anything wrong. He lives in a VERY sterile environment. I thought he might have gapeworm and I looked in his throat with a flashlight and did not see anything. Should I just go ahead and treat for it and if so is Ivermectin 1% the best thing to use? http://www.firststatevetsupply.com/store/product_info.php?cPath=23&products_id=192
Any info would be great....
