Beak broke and he's bleeding. Help please!! I'm freaking out here!

I have two hens that injured their beaks permanently as a result of the predator scares I had when I first started with quail. Both hens benefited from being separated in a warm place and slept for a day then perked back up. Once they get over the first day or two (and assuming they can eat Ok) they will be fine. Both my girls are going strong about a year later. One is missing about half her top beak and part of her bottom and the other's top beak is crooked. They are some of my favorite hens and have sweet attitudes.

Your bird might not be as bad as the cases above. Sometimes they get their beak caught in the wire and break the tip off. Bleeds pretty good and can look scary but will grow back.
