Bear Attacked my chicken coop

Bear came through at 4am this morning. Instead of tearing through the run fence which was pretty easy for him to get in, he decided to tear through a window and busting out some wood planks on the main hen house. He didn't manage to get any of my chickens but made a huge mess. From all the things I have read it seems like an electric fence is the way to go. Has anyone had good success with an electric fence? Any suggestions?

Gosh sorry about your coop. I haven't had bears just raccoons thankfully. I hope everything works out!

we use an electric fence (more for coyotes and coons), i have heard that they can work good for bigger animals (hogs,cougar's and bears)
