Shoot the thing. Not with any salt or rubber bullets, but good ole lead. Not wound it either. No head shot, one right behind the front shoulder. If you are afraid it might be tagged, that is the only time to relocate it and under the cover of darkness. I used to live in an area that they would try to relocate bear from the Lake Tahoe area. That was until I would shoot them as they released them. Was only confronted once by someone that released a bear. After I run him off at gun point, he called the sherriff. My neighbor, who is a captian on the sherriff's department, answered the call. When they came to my house all that was said by the captian
was the people releasing the bear were twice lucky, once that they hadn't met the same faith as the bear by me and had he, the sherriff, seen them turning a bear free, he would have arrested them. That as all bear made some good bacon and bear stew. ANY PREDATOR THAT COMES TO CLOSE TO MY CRITTERS OR FAMILY WILL MEET HIS MAKER.
