Had to show that to Mom!

Now, Teddy is from a Blue point Siamese and a seal point Himalayan and at times his eyes will go from blue, sky blue, clear blue and when his eyes turn pale yellow- get out of his way! Mad or ill. He has the potential of urinary crystals, we really treat him with kid gloves, at 11 years old. Not old by standards of Siamese, but his daddy died in the litter box at 5 yrs old! I assumed it was crystals and we have always watched him closely.
The big joke about this guy is when I had moved out, 2 weeks later mother called and said I needed to take "her" cat to the vets, he is constipated.
Dehydrated, constipated, I left him at the vets, 7 hours later they called me to come get him. 3 enemas and 3 bags of fluid for this guy and he had NOT expelled anything. Poor baby, they gave me a carrier (I use a collar and leash)- good thing, he piddled in the crate, and calling home, mom had the box sitting by the back door, I let him out and he did his business then crawled up in my arms to sleep.
The next time he was constipated, we found he had a UTI and forming crystals. So far so good, its been 3 years

and we feed him the special diet, except he still does get an occasional treat, I am the Sargent on treat patrol! He gets home cooked chicken or raw beef(steak), mom insists on kitty treats and he gets 4 of those. So moderation, vaseline/lax-are and cold fresh water.
Sorry so long, he is my baby although he is my moms cat!

oh, and Fancy is winning my moms heart at this point, pouring on the purring, loving and rubbing where ever mom is! I think its great, she won't poop if I'm not home either. Someone give me a hint...what do I do to these critters?!??!

I did consider it, but he has gained 3/4lb since I brought him in Monday night. He is skinny, but not emaciated . Weight is 8 1/2 lbs, he would be good at 12 to 14 with his structure. I have a baby scale that I use to monitor my cats, and any of the felines that find me.( That I find homes for.) Was on the vet's scale too. His is eating great. But will still keep him isolated until I know for sure. DH got laid off, so I plan on cashing some change in so I can have blood work done.

So many pretty kitties here! I will have to post some of my "mutts" that are all rescued. Will get a better pic of the siamese also.
BTW, made posts and looked on Craigs list and the national pet finder/ lost pet sight. Put signs up including local stores, vet etc., asked neighbors, called shelters, local police department. He's been around for about 5 weeks now. Had one reply from petfinder, not the same kitty.

Hi Spook,
Post some pics of your cat. Would love to see him.
Cats can die so fast if they have a blockage. So glad you caught it in barely enough time. I adopted middle aged a cat years ago, long story. Even though he was fixed, 2 weeks after I had him he started to pee everywhere, blood in his urine. Even though he was on antibiotics, he ended up with crystals. Took him to an emergency clinic, bladder was extremely full. Had to have a catheter which is so painful, I cried with him. He lived to be about 15, but had kidney problems for years due to the damage done from the initial infection.
Am so glad I was able to catch my new lil friends one before the severity set in.

Well, Snuffy is still with us. Has full range of the house, getting along pretty well with the others. And yes, I am getting attached. He follows me around the house, still very skittish. Here's a pic.
