his legs are clean and look a bit slaty/greenish in color and not just white like a marans should be. i'm thinking he has something else mixed in him. our fbcm have what appears to be wheaten in them but they still have the nice white legs that marans are supposed to have
my guess like i said earlier is that he has some other bree not just color mixed in him. if you plan on breeding them keep the ones that adhear closest to the standerad (unless you just want them for your back yard then keep the ones that are most appasing to you and if you)
