Bees!

Ok so it is finally warming up and bees are all over my chicken feeders?! Can I do anything to stop this?

They're after the dust from the feeders. Some people put out pollen and claim it helps

I think they'll calm down then

Adding flowers nearby or when everything blooms, they will calm down.

This is new to me. We have bees but they have never gotten into the birds feed. What are you using for feed. Must be something in the feed the bees like. Good luck...

Purina All flock. I got my ladies last September and it was still plenty warm and didn't notice bees(well a few, but nothing like this) The ladies don't seem to give a crap, so I guess it is what it is, lol

I have a group of the Silver Grey Dorking's that eat the bee's that fly into the run.

Wow! I had no clue bees liked chicken feed! I’ve seen several bees but we have crocus & dandelion open already, so maybe that’s why they are leaving our feed alone.
