Beginning of Bumblefoot? Advice please

I was doing a foot check on my bird today and noticed this. She has another spot similar on her other foot as well. I’m assuming it’s Bumblefoot.

I went to my feed store and they gave me some Betadine and Vetericyn to soak it in. I was to also going to use Neosporin and wrap it, however that didn’t pan out because she was freaking out and I needed another pair of hands.

My question is, is this a good course of treatment? I AM NOT interested in cutting anything out at this point, as I am not a vet and I do not feel comfortable doing so at all. I am strictly looking for non-surgical advice My plan to to soak every day and apply the Vetericyn and Neosporin. Is betadine the best option? Should I use only an epsom salt soak? Someone on another page mentioned betadine might dry it out too much?

I would recommend going to the vets as that looks like it’s going to need to be opened to get the hard staff infection out.

I would soak it, use a cloth to remove any debris and gently clean and debride it, and then use the veterycin spray and either plain neosporin or plain triple antibiotic ointment on in. With repeated treatments and wrapping it may resolve. If it starts getting bigger, swelling, or red then more may need to be done. It looks more like an injury at this point, not really a case of bumblefoot yet. When you wrap, don't wrap too tightly, just enough to protect it, co wrap or vet wrap works well. You will need to wrap the toe and then around the foot to keep it on probably. If it seems to get worse rather than better you can try soaking in tricide neo. It may take some time to heal up, so patience and consistency is important.
