Belgian Malines Have Arrived!!!

I want to thank all my fans here on BYC who have viewed &/or contributed to my thread! It wouldn't be the same without you. It's been a great run so far, but I have embarked upon a joint venture with my hubby & won't have the same time to allot my thread. I will still post pics (maybe not as many) & updates about my birds, but will not be able to answer anything beyond the basic questions. If more info is needed, please feel free to contact Bart Nagel at his website bulbsoffire.com I know he would be more than happy to assist you! :)

Catching up here after a long day.

Our Roost, you'll get more when I'm darn good & ready to give it to you! Ha, ha, ha! Seriously, I think I have a few to post tomorrow. The oldest are 12 weeks old now. Looking mighty fine too! :)

Gotta love those sturdy legs! I should post a video of them running. They make me smile every time they do that. :)

Above is the happy family. Basil the Basque cross cockerel has taken over as leader of the flock & adoring father. He even helps feed the chicks. Awww! Wish I had a pic of that! I imagine they'll be weaned soon. Time will tell. Chicks here are just over 5 weeks old.

Above is great looking cockerel.

Above is 'Thor', my future breeder on the right. One of his brothers on the left.

A lovely group shot of the 12 week olds. An EE & buff orp pullets in background.

Here are the 12 week old gals. The 10 week olds never seem to be around at picture time. They are a bit smaller. I have a 22 week old Cuckoo Marans pullet that's only slightly bigger than these gals.
