Update: Hatched 12 of the Pyncheon X Buff Columbian(split to mottled) most are colored millies. Hatched 8 of the Pyncheon X quail cross. Most of those look quail with a couple buff columbian looking ones. Pictures in a few days.Update: have F1's running around the hatcher. Looks like millies and buff columbian so far. All the pyncheons had kind of pinkish white legs except one pullet, hers are green like an easter egger. The quail crosses all have slatish legs but the millie crosses are all kind of pinkish yet. Now I have a pyncheon roo with a millie hen with 3 spikes on her comb. two pyncheon hens with a double spiked millie roo and two pyncheon hens with a mottled roo. I plan on hatching some of these and next year go back to d'Anvers and see what happens.Really thinking that leg color must be sexlinked.....great starts! They look awesome!
