My other WPR Newbie, who's already laying eggs (not Fluffy this time...) has a floppy comb that is bent to the side but I'm not too sure how to keep it upright, anyone have any suggestions?

I have a couple chickens that have floppy combs, but it doesn't seem to bother them, so it doesn't bother me. Are you going to show the birds? If not, I don't know why you would want to "fix" it, or worry about it. If it's not causing some sort of distress, I'd leave it alone. JMO though....

No way to fix it I know of, but have never really tried or worried over it.

We have 3 or 4 in our 2 flocks that have them and our Barred Rocks seem to have them more often than other breeds we keep.

Of our six Black Java's (now about 28wks), two have "floppy" combs. One is starting to look like it's going to fold over upon itself, into an 's' shape!

I've not heard of anyway to change this situation. They don't mind!
