Best Chicken feed for Pekins?( UK Only )

Hello there Members of BYC. I'm a new recruit on here. I was wondering what would be a great feed for Pekin Chickens? You see, I'm getting New Pekins in june. So I want to get them the best possible life that I have to offer. Thank you for viewing my post, I hope you all have a splendid time today and the next.

They don’t have different nutritional requirements to other chickens. Whatever you feed your flock is fine for them too.

If you don’t have chickens, then a layer feed is fine. Or you can feed non medicated chick crumb and offer oyster shell for calcium.

Pekins can be great little egg makers so I would probably just feed layers.

I feed mine a mix of 21% protein game bird feed/ feather fixer/ and 17% protein layer crumbs. depending on the time of year it varies how much game bird feed. but I always do a 1:1 ratio of feather fixer to layer crumbs.
My birds are breeding birds and that does make a difference.
