I've been afraid to update this thread. I didn't want to jinx it.

Daddy took a turn for the worse Tuesday? Wednesday? The days are all running together. Twice the doctors said that he wasn't going to make it. Yesterday they had to put in a feeding tube. They started feeding him through the tube yesterday evening at 5:00. We left and came back an hour later and he was sitting up in bed, watching TV!!! Today his doctor is saying he WILL recover, slowly, but he will be okay.

Again, best Christmas ever! Thank you all for your well wishes and positive thoughts!
