Looking for suggestions as to what the best food is for guineas that they will actually eat without wasting too much of it. So what does every one feed and how does it work for you and your guineas? I raised our keets on chick started and then transfered them to a pelleted turkey feed which they did pretty well on. I then swithced them to an organic specialty blend that I could also feed our geese which is great not having to buy and store a bunch of different types of foods, but the guineas only eat about have of what is in the mix. They waste the other half in their own bowls and then raid the geese buckets for the good stuff and then leave what they don't want for the geese. They also free range during the day. They have been holding their weight but I am not going to keep spending so much on food if they are going to waste half of it all the time. I was thinking of switching them back to the turkey food, but if there is something better I am happy to try it!
