Best Guess as to Breed?

You've got me all stirred up about chicks now. LOL.

What would you suggest I breed 'Baby' with?  I love the blue and gold combo he has.  

I would get some blue Orp hens and let him go to town Then you could breed his daughters back to him to see if you can enhance the blue. I like the blue/buff too, but personally, I like it with more blue and a little less buff But what really matter is ashton you like!

Could be an Ameraucana. Hard to tell from the pic. What type of comb does it have? What color legs and is it bearded?

Its feet look green from what little I can see of them from pics. That means your little one is probably an Easter Egger.

Could you post some pics of the Blue/Buff combo you most like?

Again, this isn't my picture, but this rooster displays what *I* would consider a perfect lemon blue. Given how beautifully golden his feathers are, he's probably a proper lemon blue (brown red and blue, not buff and blue). If the lemon were diluted to a more demure buff I'd still like him just as much though. This color would probably be near impossible to get by mixing buff/blue though. If you Google brown red Cochins, it'd be easy to see why

Myself, I prefer blue hackles like 'Baby' has. I do like this chicken's tail and lower blue feathers, though. Can you find a picture of one like him with blue hackles, as well? I Googled but I must not have put in the right search terms, because no pictures came up? I didn't find this picture you posted, either. What search terms do you use?

'Baby's' coloring is a bright reddish gold, now that you mention it, not the traditional Buff Orpington coloration that is a softer, paler yellow. Strange!
