The only noise in a still air incubator is the heating element turning on and off. Which if you get one with a digital thermostat. Is no noise at all. Since there is no fan to circulate the air. They have hot and cool spots in them. So you will have lower hatch rates. Since an automatic egg turner makes noise. You probably want to avoid that also. With my curiosity now piqued. I have to ask about your homes HVAC system. The quietest heat source that I can thick of would be radiant. Other than the pump turning on and off. Radiant heat with an outdoor heat source would be fairly quiet. Even a ductless A/C unit is going to make noise from the compressor and blower turning on and off. Do these appliances also interrupt your sleep? I have a traditional (I am in the U.S.) forced air system for heat and A/C in my home. Even my cabinet incubator, with it’s humidity pump and larger automatic turner motors. Is quieter than my HVAC system operating. Knowing that may open up a few more options for you.House isn't soundproof in the least, so even if it's upstairs and I downstairs I can hear it no matter what. So still air will be quiet?![]()
