best place to get Delaware chickens

I did not realize how hard it would be to find good Delawares. I have had people try to pass off light brahmas as Delawares, or all I can find is mixed Delawares. Where can I find some??? I do not mind shipping, but I would love to be able to pick them up. I live in the northwest corner of Alabama.

It is to hot to ship them right now. Look on the buy sell area on this fourm, might fine someone in your area. I'm in s.c. it will be fall before I hatch some more.

I have had Delawares from several sources, and the best by far have been the chicks I got from Sandhill Preservation, for temperament, size, and good egg laying.
