My 22 month old Buff Orpington Hen has vent gleet and sour crop, I believe. I'm hoping someone can help me figure out the best course of treatment.
* I have Fluconazole 200mg (1 tablet)
* Miconazole Nitrate Cream 2%
* Nystatin Ointment 100,000 units per gram
* Nystatin Cream 100,000 units per gram
I have called around to every poultry supply brick and mortar within an hour long one way trip and nobody carries acidified Copper Sulfate, which is what I wanted to use, so I'll order it. For now, what would you suggest I use to help my sweet girl. She's miserable and I missed the vent gleet for too long by chalking it up to a fluffy butt. Out of these options or any others that are easily attainable in a small town, which one do you suggest until I can get acidified Copper Sulfate?
