Best type of crow collar?

You cannot monitor them 24 hours a day. Problems occur when the bird gets something that's larger than his usual feed and attempts to swallow it and then chokes to death. They are dangerous.
I haven’t seen mine struggle with anything. But I’ll keep that in mind. I have cameras setup so I check on them any time. To me it’s a worthwhile risk. By managing my roosters crowing I can keep them and not contribute to the glut of unwanted roos, which for many, I am sure, means they avoid being put in a pot.
 
You can rehome cockerels. I have rehomed 9. All went on to be pets/flock leaders.
It isn't just a matter of being able to breath with the collar on. Sometimes they pick something large to swallow and then choke when they can't get it down. They are very dangerous.
