Best way to introduce buff color into a flock? (New chicken breed)

The three chicks at the top are a little over a week old. And the Phoenix chick is 4 days old

They do! But it'll introduce muffs and beards lol

We've actually gotten very lucky and found a breeder with longtails that lay blue eggs. We purchased a couple of eggs and they should be coming in on Tuesday.

Update on the chicks:

The first chick passed away a couple of days after posting it's picture but now we have 3 chicks from the Buff Rock and Yoko and 1 chick from the Phoenix and the Yoko. Several more chicks are going to hatch this week 👍
Well that’s good!

How are things going?
They are going pretty well actually 👍

We were able to get 4 schijndelaar chicks from a local farm and 6 blue eggs from a long tail breeder in Texas, that has a flock of long tail blue egg layers. His flock has Phoenix, Yokohama, cubalaya and Sumatra. He's done a couple of crosses with some blue egg layers and that's how he had some blue egg laying long tails.
I bought twelve eggs but he could only get me 6 blue eggs as not all his flock lays the blue eggs. Of the 6, 1 broke in transit, 1 didn't hatch and the last four are 3 days old. Of the 4, there are two that I'm really interested in. I'll include photos of course.

As for the YokoxBuff, I have 3 that were selected from 8. And I have 2 YokoxPhoenix that are gold based.

As you can see, I have a lot more selecting to do lol

This is one of the blue egg long tails that I'm interested in. I'd like to think that he has an interesting color to him but I'm still not too good with chick down colors.

Here's the second one. At first I thought it was going to be a lavander chick but now that the wing feathers are coming in, it's looking more like a blue. Maybe Blue Wheaten? That would be amazing!

Here's the eldest YokoxBuff. The tail was really long and beautiful for it's size but the rain came and got them all dirty :/
I believe this one to be a girl. The other chicks that weren't selected from this cross all had downward pointing tails.

Pretty bad photo but it shows the last hatch that I had from the Phoenix. 5 of her chicks and two YokoxBuff.

The same Phoenix hen just sat on 10 of her eggs from the Niederrheiner. Those I'm really excited for 👍
