I don't want to get in legal trouble but I do want to kill this fox pair/family
Why would I pay them to catch a fox for me when I have plenty of trapper friends who can do it for me instead at no cost?Somebody totally unfamiliar with fox trapping and the use of cages, snares and footholds should not even try. doing your own coons or skunks is one thing but back off the fox. I would go to this website www.nwcoa.com and click on the "find a member" for your area.
Wisconsin has some very talented members of this organization and I know many of them, get professional help before you educate those fox and make it double hard to catch them, then it will cost even more.
I didn't mention it because if I can do it myself I will.We didn’t know you had trapper friends... did you mention that previously?
By all means get those folks on it pronto!![]()
I didn't mention it because if I can do it myself I will.
I have a handful of friends who trap and would probably like themselves a fox pelt anyway. I'll ask them and see if they have live traps but to my recollection they only have snares.
Okay will doYou’d want to use ‘cable restraints’ instead of snares since there are pets around.
But in any case, get the help of someone with trapping know how, because as mentioned foxes can school you in a hurry, and you’ll be left with educated critters, and then the real trouble starts.
