I never do really because I can't see being able to not transfer disease anyways. I just try introducing them.Cool..I like the colors!
But I prefer the smaller breeds to... I do keep some big birds for eggs and meat... I recently found a new rooster for my layer flock. He's a wellsumer...
Do you think I should keep him separate from my flock for a little bit to make sure he's healthy ?. He was advertised as" free to a good home. "

Have you heard of Midget White Turkeys? They get no bigger then a large chicken. They're Bantam turkeys pretty much.

They do have silkie in them... I found out the hard way that a lot of game fowl people or at lest the ones on byc don't like silkes.... So when I told them my American games have a modest amount of silke in them..Five toes is a genetic mutation called polydactily, which Silkies, & Dorkings have.
