Really? None, that's probably not accurate. Just a belief.
Just because you didn't serve doesn't mean your not a Patriot to your country. Mentioning Hussein means nothing and should not be included in the conversation, that's just a typical cheap low blow. I think you'd be surprised what Obama knows, maybe it's not the old standard way that McCain views things, but I guess that would be considered real change then...a different view.

Obama has very little experience, just a good speech he made at the convention years ago. He speaks really well, says everything people want to hear. Using his given middle name is in no way a low shot, that is his name. How could a man like Obama expect our military to respect him? He wants to withdrawal our troops without victory. That means that the young men and woman that died fighting this war for us died in vain. No way. I do not trust him. He is full of hot air in a polished suit with celebrities behind him. I no longer watch Oprah for introducing this nightmarish character to our politics.

Have you ever listened to Obama give a speech and counted how many times he says "When I'm president, I'm gonna do......" Last time I check and right now this day you can look and see the president can't do much w/o Congress so.....Talk is cheap either way for me. Actions speak louder.

It is nice to see people giving this some intelligent thought though. A while back I was reading about peoples thoughts about Palin after she got on the ticket. The news media actually interviewed two different women, who both said they could relate to her because she was a sports mom and so were they. And that was the main reason they were voting for her. I mean, comeon...Whaat?????

I'm typically Democratic in my beliefs; however, I'm worried about the heathcare issue, BIG TIME. Having a healthcare background (I was the biller for a large extended care facility), I do have some experience in this area. Obama wants to push this country toward socialized medicine...while it works, it's not the best choice. I DO agree the healthcare issue is extremely important, and neither candidate has a good resolution. But, socialized medicine stalls forward motion in medical research. Period. That's MY biggest worry. I think it's an issue they haven't spoken on enough, and I'd like to hear more about where both candidates see us as being headed in that area.

people who continue to bash palin with no experience I have one question for you. The last two presidents were both what before being president? Yes if you guessed governor you are correct. Now im not sure why when both clinton and bush ran there was no questioning experience. Let me also add the last election when the liberals took over congress. (take out biden and mccain) as they have been there a long time. Congress had the last time i checked a 12% approval rating. YES THAT IS LOWER than bush. No im a republican mostly as that has been the way I have voted however! Bush has been a disaster but sadly people cannot see everything the news media and liberals hit bush with is not fully his fault. Alot of the crap that is going on today is due to way back before bush was even in office. Now the last election we had if I can remember when we elected the democrats into both the house and congress what was the promise they gave us? Gas would be corrected and we would be out of Iraq. Now the last time I checked gas has nearly doubled the last two years and yeah were still in Iraq (which i think we should be). Now with a controlled congress and house you can push bills to the presidents desk and guess what. Not one bill for either subject came to him! NOT ONE! Now if they passed some things in which they promised and bush veto the bill then hey they tried and kept to their word. The past two years has been a wasted two years on both sides! The sad part is I dont understand why people will vote the democrats AGAIN just because they hate bush/cheney. When come jan there history...gone...no more!!!

Also want to add please no one call anyone any names as this is a very civil conversation and EVERYONE has a right to what they believe in!

As far as the Hussein name, if one can not keep an open mind that it's a name and not what he stands for is a problem as far as I'm concerned. That just shows how closed minded one can be. Remember this is America, the melting pot! Not everone one is named John Smith.

Obama is not just pulling our troops out cut and dry, but has a plan to transition power to the Iraq nation over time, with McCain, there is no end, no time line, nothing. The men and women have not and will continue to NOT die in vain. However I feel to keep them over there with no real plan to return our troops home is wrong.

Look it's an opinoin and we are all entitled, but make sure it's based on facts not little things like a name....

*edited to say
I think the election is already decided and should be in interesting to see how it all plays out.
I hate the anger that goes with politics and will try to remember that every time I see one of these posts. RUN to another topic!
