BIG lump on 8 weeks old chickens

My girls had a plate of ramen noodels the other night and looked like they were going to explode. I think their center of gravity was even off because of the weight in the front.

By morning they were all back to their normal shape and 'starving' again!

I am new to this, I was holding one of my bantams and whispering to my husband over my kids head that I thought it had a tumor. It was my first week with chickens and that night another newbie asked the same thing on the forum. I was reassured, but checked her first thing in the morn and she was fine. Love this website! I felt like I was flying solo til I logged in here!
